Pictures from Yesterdaze

Some days are more successful than other. Today I have been able to scan a bunch of old historic photos and listen to some histories from way back in time.

Here is one picture taken during an endurance run held in 1921 where the participants rode from our capitol Kristiania (now Oslo), along the cost to Stavanger, then crossing the mountains to get back.
As most roads in Norway back in 1921 where more like cattle paths this was one great adventure for those brave men & women.

Picture show some of the participants lined up ready to leave Nesflaten, a small village in the mountains.

There will be more pictures and a story from this great ride to west Norway in a future post on this blog.
