Harley Davidson mod. R from 1935

Got mail from a friend, Sigurd with a couple of pics showing his recent find, a 1935 Harley model R 45" (750cc).
Congratulations in getting this great bike, look forward to see you on the road with this.

    WOW a WR... its always been a dream of mine to have an original WR... does he know the history... was it a dealer order.... fantastic pics

    Hi Rowan, sorry to say this is just an R no W involved. This is not a sports bike but still I think its cool that there is such finds still coming up. There is nothing like a bike where most of the parts belonged to each other since day 1.
    These R models where the last ones with loss lubrication, in 37 the 45" got the return pump.
